Language Clubs
Whether practicing conversation, exploring global cultures, or preparing for language competitions, the Language Clubs at ECS are designed to help students communicate confidently, think globally, and appreciate diverse perspectives.
We aim to cultivate a dynamic community of learners who engage with language beyond the classroom. Through interactive activities, cultural exchanges, debates, performances, and collaborative projects, students strengthen their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while developing cross-cultural understanding. These shared experiences inspire curiosity, broaden worldviews, and equip students with the communication skills essential for academic success and meaningful global engagement
English Club
In English Club, ideas come to life through words. While engaging and interactive, English Club is a focused environment where communication skills are sharpened through meaningful practice. Activities at ECS develop confidence in speaking, critical thinking in discussion, creativity in writing, and clarity in public presentation—while encouraging curiosity and open-mindedness.
Students explore language through debates, storytelling, drama, presentations, and collaborative projects. These skills are showcased in school events, competitions, and special programs throughout the year, providing valuable experiences that strengthen articulation, leadership, and the confidence to communicate effectively in academic and real-world settings.
Mandarin Club
Mandarin Club opens the door to language, culture, and global connection. While engaging and culturally enriching, it is a focused environment where students develop practical communication skills through active participation. Activities at ECS strengthen speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities—while building confidence, cultural awareness, and a broader worldview.
Students explore Mandarin through conversation practice, cultural projects, performances, calligraphy, games, and collaborative activities. These experiences are shared in school events and special programs throughout the year, providing meaningful opportunities to grow in fluency, cross-cultural understanding, and the confidence to communicate in an increasingly interconnected world.
